New for 2020 – join the exclusive club of ocean swimmers who have ventured behind the island! Leaving the shore at Mudjimba, find yourself swimming out around the iconic Old Woman Island, across reef home to curious turtles, before heading back to shore in time for coffee and breakfast. Make it a race against the clock or a micro adventure around an island you’ve seen from the beach, but not yet explored…
This is an event for everyone, from passionate swimmers to new swimmers wanting to take on a challenge. It’s a good way to dip your toes in if you are thinking of signing up to the annual Island Charity Swim or a great training session if you’ve already taken the plunge and signed up.
Please note this is an open ocean event with a course that takes swimmers approximately one and half kilometres offshore.
