Christmas is three weeks away and while many of the squad are winding down and putting their best foot forward in terms of the silly season there are plenty of people looking for training opportunities during this time.
If you are preparing for upcoming races such as the Gatorade Series, Caloundra Triathlon, Mooloolaba Triathlon, Melbourne Ironman, Geelong 70.3 or the Cairns Ironman Festival (among others) consider joining in for the annual Atlas Christmas Training Block.
There’s no more valuable base building program around. There are two-, three- and four-day options depending on your availability, ability and upcoming goals.
There are at least two sessions a day (morning and afternoon) as well as some fantastic “meet the expert” opportunities where you can hear about how best to handle your nutrition, injury prevention and improve your skills.
The training camp runs from December 26-29 and includes a post-event social get together too so you can compare war stories and battle scars.
Reserve your spot (limited availability) today via our online store. Or read a full description of the Christmas Training Camp here.
If that’s too much for you then jump on the A-Train for the annual Six Hills of Buderim event on Saturday December 14. Round trip is roughly 50km with 1500m of vertical climbing spread over about two hours PLUS a well-earned coffee and chat-fest at Vandy’s Garage (Birds and the Bean Espresso Bar) at the end.
